YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
This project demands significant cooperation by your employees. Ultimate
success is highly dependent on their effort. To help achieve a smooth
and successful implementation, it will be your responsibility to:
1.
Provide
an overall scope of your company and the type of information that is
handled daily.
2.
Allow the
evaluator access to employee areas and observation of daily employee
procedures for the specified dates only.
3.
Do not
change procedures prior to or during the evaluation. A true evaluation
of safe handling habits will be of greater value for improving your
company’s procedures and compliance.
4.
Have
specific department staff available for evaluation. Such as HR and
payroll personnel. The safe handling of employee information is a vital
area of concern.
5.
The
evaluator will not handle or purposely view sensitive information on
computers or files. The evaluator may ask employees if the information
is sensitive in an effort to discover how information is handled.
